After spending the last 36 years designing and selling cabinetry, I can honestly say I feel like I am "home" now with Dimensions in Wood. I graduated from the University of Missouri in 1984 with a degree in Home Economics: Housing and Interior Design, and made my way to Cincinnati, Ohio to find my first job in the kitchen and bath industry. Since then I have worked with a number of fantastic companies in Ohio, Minnesota, Illinois and Missouri. I have been fortunate to work with many wonderful lines of cabinetry and had some amazing teachers throughout the years. Even after 36 years, there is always more to learn!

I love this business! Every job is unique and every client has their own vision of what they see their project becoming. My job is to take your ideas and make them not only function, but look like everything you ever dreamed of.

Working with the ideas you want to incorporate, and throwing in a few of my own, we can design the perfect space for your home. My favorite job is when I am faced with a space that is completely daunting… that one kitchen that you think there is absolutely nothing that can be done to fix this. The look on someone's face when I show them it can be fixed makes my job worthwhile.

I had a client ready to move from her home because she despised it so. After looking at all the spaces and talking through them, we realized she didn’t hate the house, she hated the kitchen. When the remodel was complete, she looked me in the eye, and crying, said she loved her "new house".

Sometimes all it takes is a new space that functions and makes you smile when you walk into it.

I look forward to helping everyone smile!
