Details of this Fulton Home’s Kitchen and Bathrooms Remodel
This beautiful Fulton, Missouri home’s kitchen, master bathroom and guest bathroom were all remodeled. Popcorn ceiling was removed throughout the entire home. Missouri native Storehouse Real Hickory Hardwood Plank Flooring was used on the entire first floor, and all the trim was painted.
The kitchen renovation included Bridgewood factory cabinets with a custom corner cabinet, Quartz countertops, a custom-built pantry including a Coffee Bar, entryway storage bench with coat rack, new appliances, LED light fixtures and Marvin Windows.
All appliances are matching stainless steel. A high-end Wolf electric, induction cookstop is mounted above a Wolf electric oven with ventilation handled by a Zephyr Vent Hood. GE microwave, Bosch dishwasher and LG refrigerator round out the kitchen appliances.
Bridgewood factory cabinets with a Wheaton door style, painted in ivory with a pewter glaze were used for most of the kitchen’s storage, but a truly unique corner cabinet was custom built by Dimensions In Wood. Ninety-degree angle drawers were built by our cabinet makers to utilize this tight space.
The peninsula bar has additional storage hidden by the rustic bar stools which match the beautiful Missouri hickory hardwood floors. A custom pantry was built by our master craftsmen, perfectly matching the cabinet style. Inside is a coffee bar the homeowners love. With the doors closed, everything is hidden away and neatly organized.
Pull out, soft close drawers were used in the panty for easy access storage rather than static shelves. All the kitchen drawers and doors are soft close to prevent slamming. Crown molding throughout the kitchen is the perfect, luxury “cherry on top.”
Quartz countertops were used as they are a high-end choice for a long lasting, durable and timeless design. Quartz is one of the hardest minerals on Earth. While sometimes called “engineered” or “man-made,” quartz is actually a natural stone and regarded as a great countertop material.
An entryway seat was created using the same Quartz as the countertops. The homeowner even crafted the coat rack from a piece of the hickory flooring. Cabinets overhead, and a space beneath the bench, provide additional storage.
A unique single bowl Blanco fireclay sink is under-mounted beneath the countertops. Fireclay is an interesting substance, said to be stronger than ceramic and porcelain. To protect the kitchen’s walls a classic tan subway tile backsplash was laid.
In the master bathroom the entire floor plan was rearranged. A new Onyx walk in shower was installed after moving the sink. A linen closet was custom built to give the homeowners storage they lacked. Onyx countertops sit atop the rustic bathroom vanity. Then the guest bathroom’s renovation included new floors, tub, shower, Mirabelle toilet and new sink.
The final touches for this Fulton house’s renovation were a wooden staircase handrail and Barn Doors, custom built by Dimensions In Wood. The barn doors grant access to the master bedroom from the hall and access to the master bathroom. The doors close together on the corner of the room for a beautiful, farm-house look. The homeowner even custom, hand forged the barn door handles with a local black smith!
