This Jeff City home’s kitchen was builder grade and due for an update in both aesthetics and functionality. We were even able to add stackable laundry in the existing pantry. The homeowner’s favorite part of working with Dimensions In Wood was that we are a one stop shop, handling cabinets, countertops, plumbing, electrical, and installing appliances for them. You can read his 5 star review below:
“This company knows what they are doing and have all the bases covered. Pictures do not do it justice. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. From design, to installation, electrical, plumbing and tiling – it’s a one-stop shop and they are meticulous, customer focused perfectionists. We took a totally unworkable kitchen and turned into one of the best kitchens we’ve ever had. Totally functional, everything just “fits” and works like it should. Highly, highly recommend Dimensions In Wood.
It was both a relief and super helpful that we could: select cabinets, countertops, drawers and cupboards in one place. See 1,000’s of potential countertops, pulls and back-splash options, with Marianne’s help and encouragement along the way. We always left a meeting with her with way more answers than questions. Everyone we worked with always just said “no problem” when we wanted to do something, change something etc. So yes, that we could get, LITERALLY, everything done both at DIW’s showroom and in the actual kitchen project was no small thing.” – Derek T.
RiverRun Cambridge Factory Cabinets were used rather than custom cabinets to stay on budget. All of the drawers and doors have soft close to prevent slamming. A handy two level lazy susan makes good use of the corner cabinet and double tier silverware drawer adds extra storage for utensils. Handy slide out drawers were used rather than stationary shelves for the trash and recycling, pots & pans and also in the pantry. All the cabinet hardware is Jeffrey Alexander Lyon center cup pulls in an oil rubbed bronze finish.
We used seamless Formica laminate countertops. These are less expensive than stone, but still look high end and custom. A peninsula was added for extra counter and cabinet space. The stainless steel, single tub sink was exactly what the homeowner wanted rather than a typical split style, and is filled by a Moen faucet. Italian Alps Daltile Artigiano subway tile serves for a timeless but modern backsplash.
TASK under cabinet LED lighting illuminates this kitchen, eliminating shadows, plus they were attached to on/off switches with dimmers. We also installed new oil rubbed bronze light fixtures to match the cabinet hardware. New style paddles light switches were installed and we moved several power outlets to accommodate the kitchen’s new layout.
All the appliances are stainless steel. The ZLine Gas Range is accented with a functional and beautiful stainless steel wall splash guard. A ZLine 30 inch under cabinet range hood goes straight up through the roof, with no 90 degree bends for the best ventilation possible. An LG Stainless Steel Fridge and Kitchen Aid Dishwasher finish out the kitchen appliances.
Finally the pantry had new cabinets installed and we routed plumbing and electrical to add a stackable washer and dryer to the space.
